There is an AWESOME tutorial on how to create your own Unicorn Poop cookies simply by kristylynn84 at Instructables. com. I couldn’ t wait for making these, and thought they would become a great project to do with my kids… which it was! We had plenty of fun baking together, and the answers are quite impressive, even if they are simply piles of poop! Perform check out the tutorial in the link over, as Kristy does a great work sharing her how-to. I’ ve got some personal information to add on how we created our own version below.
This unicorn poop cookie formula is no longer live on the site we initially found it, sunscholars. com. We now have resurrected it from the Internet graveyard. In case you are the original poster and wish this removed, please email us.
- Sugar Cookie Money
- Neon Food Colouring
- Wilton Sparkle Skin gels
- Candy Sprinkles
- Paint Brush
- Cookie Sheet, Oven, Pot Owner, Spatula… All that things you need to bake cookies!
Note : Original instructions included the primary meals dyes as well as a rainbow disco dirt and rainbow dragees. Used to do not use these. We loved the neon dyes by themselves, and chose not to use every other colors. As for the rainbow disco dust and the dragees, I am sure these people add an extra boost of twinkle and glitz, but these weren’ big t available to me. I think the outcomes were still pretty awesome with no them.
2 . After our dough hardened upward a bit in the fridge, I reduce each colored roll into four pieces (because I had four children making poop cookies).
3. I required one strip of each color plus laid them together to form a colorful roll, gently pressing them collectively. I gave each kid their rainbow roll, and requested them to gently roll them to be able to about a 1/2″ thickness to make our own cookies. Roll out onto a surface area lightly dusted with flour.
We found this helpful to cut the roll by 50 % after it started to get a long time to manage. Also try to provide the dough a little twist as you are dealing with it. Once the children acquired rolled the dough to a good thickness, we cut off what was necessary to form each cookie.
Note : I think i was a little conservative on how much all of us blended the colors together in the beginning. Those that we rolled a bit more had some beautiful blended colours like the one shown above. However , also know that the more a person handle the cookie dough, the greater your cookies will flatten when they are baked!
five. Place your cookies on the baking sheet and cook according to your own recipe directions. If your biscuits are larger, and/or thicker than the usual normal cookie would be, make sure to somewhat lower the temperature and improve your baking time!
Try not to over-bake!! No one wants to consume brown poop cookies!
My kids are thinking this is quite hysterical at this point!
six. Once your cookies are usually cool, it is time to make them sparkle! Cover your cookies with Shimmer Gel, and use a paint clean to smooth it out in to a nice coating over each biscuit. See the images below…
I followed the particular instructions and dropped a swirl of gel on top of each biscuit, then my kids took the brushes to them. This gel functions so well! As the guide had said, it fills within the little cracks in your cookies and provides them a beautiful, smooth finish!
7. While the skin gels is still fresh, decorate your biscuits with candy sprinkles. These types of look best if you place each one of these individually, rather than dumping a scattering over the cookies and letting them stay where they fall. I might have used stars like they do in the original if I had them… but flowers and hearts appeared pretty good too.
So that as another note, Kristy had described that the gel doesn’ t dried out completely… so your cookies will be a little bit tacky. So just be cautious not to stack them!
And there you might have it, your very own Unicorn Poop Biscuits!
The lovliest poop you’ ll ever consume! Happy Cooking!
